Number One Taste Chinese

We ordered from Number One taste Chinese on a busy, cold Friday night. Our order somehow got lost in the shuffle, so our food was about half an hour late when we called them to see what had happened. Fifteen minutes later, we had a fresh, hot order and a very sincere apology. I appreciate when a restaurant doesnt give you the runaround and we will definitely be ordering here again!

The food is excellent. I love the mooshu pork, the pancakes are perfect and they came hot. The filling is perfectly spiced. I only wish they gave me a little bit more plum sauce, since the portions are so big. The orange chicken is good, too. Its not quite as crispy as some places, but I love the sauce and the meat was very tender. As for apps, the spring roll was okay but the crab Rangoons and the mini pork and leek dumplings are delicious! So juicy and well fried, well seasoned.

My new favorite are the mini-pork & leek dumplings, and the mushroom mini dumplings. Tasty and moist! Hard not have them every day. Also their chicken wonton soup. Perfect balance of wontons (also lignt) and veggies and broth. The broth is not over salted and the taste has good body to it. I've put some in the freezer to bring out if I'm sick too. Portions are also very reasonable.

number one taste has the number one spot in my hungry heart. they are everything to me and i love their orange 'number one taste' t shirts -- i want one. thank you guys for keeping the dream alive. also, i love your mini dumplings. i thank god every day for number one taste.

Everything was great, delivery was fast despite the the restaurant making a typo on my address on the order receipt. The poor delivery driver contacted me for the actual address and got my order to me with no issues!

Delivery was a little late, but the delivery guy was so nice and super apologetic, and the food was AWESOME! Highly reccomend the peaking raviolis. I will definitely be ordering from here again in the near future!
